Cherie Down's 7 acres are largely comprised of scenic sand dunes and sea grasses, perfect for beach activities and swimming. The park sits against the Atlantic Ocean half a mile northeast of Canaveral City Park. Amenities at the park include restrooms, outdoor showers, two picnic shelters, two grills, and a boardwalk while the primary activities at the park are surf fishing and swimming.
